Relatif Mudah
Urusan dapur pacu awalnya memang disetel untuk turun balap. Makanya dipasangkan K20A dengan tenaga paling tinggi (225 dk). Pemasangan tidak banyak kendala.
Dudukan mesin diubah semua. “Engine mounting pakai Hasport, khusus buat yang mau swap mesin K20,” urai pria yang berdomisili di Jelambar ini.
Sebagian parts mesin ikut diganti seperti puli, piston buat kompresi tinggi, per klep, klep, kruk as dan kem. ECU di-remap pakai Hondata agar data ECU sesuai dengan output dari mesin.
Urusan drivetrain, Ricky enggak gila-gilaan. Seperti girboks yang masih mempertahankan spek Type R. Hanya saja mekanisme tuas persnelingnya diganti sama short shifter dari K-Tuned, biar jarak operannya makin pendek.
Gerak roda depan kanan-kiri juga disinkronkan sama kehadiran LSD Cusco 1,5 way. Radiator juga di-custom jadi 4-ply biar enggak gampang overheat. “Radiator gue bikin custom di daerah Jakarta. Kerjaannya oke kok,” tuturnya.
